It’s cold, snowy and blustery outside so I made a hot chocolate duo for now and Valentine’s Day that will warm you from head to toe.
Hot Chocolate Duo For Now and Valentine’s Day
It’s no secret that snow has fallen across much of the country. It’s cold and we are almost couch potatoes. So let’s warm up with a delicious peppermint white chocolate tea to perk you up.
Curl up on the couch and watch your favorite family movie. This hot chocolate duo for now and Valentine’s Day is fun to make on a chilly night to enjoy with the kids. Add mini marshmallows as well!
Right now, at this moment, while we are waiting for the snow plows we need something to make us feel better.
While watching the falling snow and wondering how long I would be snowed in I was thinking about the hot chocolate my father would always make us when we came in from playing in the snow.
EASY HOT CHOCOLATE DRINKS
Since the snow is not melting anytime soon we’ll need a hot chocolate for now, for later, for tomorrow and, yes let’s make it an extra special hot chocolate for Valentine’s Day too.
A simple packet of pre-measured cocoa powder is all you need to make hot cocoa for the kids. Of course you can make your own very special hot chocolate recipe. Always add a dollop of whipped cream and marshmallows on stick for stirring. This will cheer up children of all ages!
You can make an adult hot chocolate by adding a splash of Kahlua, rum or Grand Marnier (the orange flavor is perfect with chocolate). Add whipped cream and a fresh strawberry or raspberry just because you are special.
Now here is the duo – the second hot chocolate special recipe. If you are not a milk chocolate fan below is a version of a peppermint white chocolate peppermint tea recipe I saw in a magazine. Yes, of course I had to try it and I loved it.
The peppermint aroma and flavors were very comforting and blend well with white chocolate.
