Cherry Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

Cherry Chocolate Chip Ice Cream is a Dairy Free dessert. Check you ingredients and choose your favorite brand of dairy free/vegan chocolate chips. This recipe requires an ice cream machine.



Prepare the Sweetened Condensed Coconut Milk at least a day in advance. It will keep in the fridge at least 1 week.

  1. Coarsely chop the cherries – you can use a food processor, chopper, or a knife.
  2. Carefully chop the chocolate to yield ⅔ cup (or you can use milk, semi-sweet chocolate chips)
  3. Add the chilled sweetened condensed coconut milk to the ice cream machine and process according to directions.
  4. In the last 5 minutes of churning add in the cherries and chocolate and continue to churn.
  5. The ice cream will be a soft serve style and you can serve it immediately if you like.
  6. If you like a traditional style ice cream, transfer the ice cream to a freezer container and freeze until desired consistency.
  7. Remove from freezer at least 25 minutes prior to serving.
