#1. Prepare the popcorn according to package directions. If using your favorite prepared popcorn, lay out the popped pop corn on parchment lined baking sheet. You can also choose to use a large bowl if you prefer.
#2. Melt each chocolate individually, using double boiler method or the microwave. I used the microwave for this recipe. Melt the chocolate at 20 second intervals, stirring after each interval. The chocolate might still be solid, that’s o.k., just keep stirring until it all melts. If there are still a few solid pieces of chocolate, return to microwave for 10 seconds and stir until melted. If the chocolate is too hot it will seize and will not be spreadable.
#3. Using a fork drizzle the melted chocolate over the popcorn. Add as much or as little as you choose. After each color chocolate you drizzle then add holiday sprinkles and small candy. Let the chocolate dry for a few minutes. Using a wooden spoon stir the popcorn to break up the chunks then add the next color chocolate.
#4. Continue until you have covered the popcorn with all the chocolate and added all the little candy and sprinkles you wish.
Feel free to add in your family favorites – pretzels, nuts, etc. Add additional melted chocolate if you wish.
