Air Fryer Vegetarian Quinoa Patties Recipe is very easy to make any time. You can make these from scratch cooking up the quinoa and then making patties. I usually¬† use leftover quinoa for the patties. Using leftovers makes this recipe a winner. It’s quick, easy, and a very satisfying side dish for any meal. Great for game day snacks as well.

AIR FRYER INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a large bowl add the cooked and cooled quinoa and the remaining ingredients, except the oil, which is for pan frying only if you choose.
  2. Stir to combine with a wooden spoon. The mixture should hold together. If not add a little more flour or bread crumbs. Set aside and let sit a few minutes for the crumbs to absorb some of the moisture.
  3. In a small flat plate add additional panko bread crumbs for additional coating as needed.
  4. Heat the air fryer at 320 degrees (Be sure to check the manufacturer’s directions for your appliance. All Air Fryers will cook a bit different.)
  5. Make small patties (about 2 inch rounds) and pat each side with the additional panko crumbs.
  6. Place in pre-heated air fryer. Cook until brown, approximately 6-8 minutes, and carefully turn over to brown the other side for another 3 or 4 minutes..
  7. Continue until all patties are cooked

FRYING PAN INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a large bowl add the cooked and cooled quinoa and the remaining ingredients, except the oil.

  4. Heat avocado oil or canola oil in a saute pan.
  5. Make small patties and pat each side with the additional panko crumbs.
  6. Place in pre-heated pan, cook until brown and carefully turn over to brown the other side.
  7. Place on paper towel and continue until all patties are cooked.

Notes

I cooked the quinoa patties at the above temperature and time in my air fryer. If you are comfortable using your air fryer you will know the appropriate temperature to use and cooking time.
